Never Goodbye

Arrrgghhhh...Just one more month and I'll be in law school. I'm pretty excited and at the same time sad. Don't get me wrong, I've always wanted to become lawyer and I think it's more practical than being artsy-fartsy, especially on a country like the Philippines. It's just sad because I remember my self wondering what it's like to be part of the fashion industry, what it's like to put my work out there for people to see...
What the hell, up to now I'm still wondering! Still dreaming...

I'm just afraid that I won't have any time to even read about fashion or even have a glimpse of the things that are happening in my fantasy world. I don't want law school to suck all my passion for this art that I love so deeply. I still want want to update this blog, keep sketching and hopefully someday, be part of the fashion industry. I just don't know how hahahaha imagine me, representing a client and designing her outfit for her courtroom appearance as well hahaha talk about multitasking LOL

O well, just wish me luck ^^
Hopefully I'll survive law school and become a succesful lawyer
and after that, I'll fugure out a way to pursue fashion!!
I just need to follow my bliss no matter what ^___^

I was watching a docu-series last night and it featured Tina Maristela-Ocampo. She's this amazing Filipino bag designer behind the brand Celestina,whose creations have been used by many Hollywood celebrities including Drew Barrymore,Halle Berry,Lucy Liu to name a few. But te most recent celebrity to join in the Celestina bandwagon was Oscar Winner Sandra Bullock who accessorized with a Celestina Original during the Academy Awards

I'm really proud of this amazing woman! And the fact that she's very nationalistic makes me love her even more. I think Filipino designers should be more like her and take inspiration from what's around them. Most Filipino designers today are very westernized when it comes to their way of thinking and their aesthetic (I'm guilty of this even though I'm just a wannabe designer X___x) The Philippines is amazing... we just have to look around for possible inspiration and create something amazing out of it. Anyway, all I have to say is that I'm so proud of this Filipino talent. She's an inspiration.

Last night, I was browsing through Vogue's official site and I saw this article about Gisele Bündchen. Lemme' tell you...Life is really unfair!! Here's Gisele, after giving birth.

Gaaaaadd it's like nothing happened at all!She looks amazing! Plus, she saves the forest, an advocate of teen empowerment, she's rich and married to Tom Brady X______x
I wanna hate her for that but I can't. I just love Gisele and she looks so beautiful...

A Playmate With Style

I was watching a rerun of "Top Design" the other night and it reminded me that interior designer, Kelly Wearstler has a great sense of style. All the things that she wore on the show is something interesting and I adore her for that. So what I did is I googled her and I've learned that she was a former Playboy Playmate...Whaaaat??! (Somehow I feel like I'm the last person on earth to know about this) I really wasn't expecting that!! She's really interesting and it made me love her even more after learning about that. Anyway, I also saw some of Kelly's works and they are amazing. Her designs are modern,vibrant and fun; just like the way she dresses. Seeing her work is a visual overload and I looooove it!!! It's spectacular ^____^
